The Shire of Pingelly is trialing a common household battery recycling program for Shire Residents in conjunction with MRI e-cycle solutions to reduce the amount of heavy metals being deposited at the Pingelly Refuse Site.
Batteries that can be accepted include:
Residents wishing to participate in this trial can bring their batteries to the Shire Office 17 Queen Street Pingelly, between 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday
If the trial is successful the Shire may introduce the service for the residents of Pingelly from July 2017 along with our existing mobile phone recycling service at the Shire Office that is all offered to residents of Pingelly.
