THANK A VOLUNTEER SUNDOWNER 2018
The Shire of Pingelly in collaboration with the Pingelly CRC hosted the annual Thank A Volunteer Sundowner at Pingelly Town Hall on Thursday 22 March 2018. The event was a way to formally recognise volunteers who continually go above and beyond to serve our community. Pingelly has a long and proud history of volunteering, and this annual event celebrates and acknowledges the invaluable contribution that current and past volunteers have made to our community.
Guests were greeted to the event by Shire President, Bill Mulroney who thanked all volunteers for the commitment, dedication and selflessness in their volunteer efforts for Pingelly. He also highlighted that like many events this years, this was to be the last Thank A Volunteer event in the Pingelly Town Hall with future events taking place at the Pingelly Recreation and Cultural Centre (PRACC). A beautiful array of canapés and refreshments were provided for the guests with personalised gifts for each guest to take home with them .
Our volunteers remain an integral part of our day-to-day ability to deliver the services we provide to community. We would like to thank our volunteers for the amazing “time in” that you give community.
