Every year the Shire celebrates its inspiring community members with the annual Council Awards presentation at the Australia Day event.

To recap, Cameron Jetta received the Sportsperson of the Year Award in 2021 for his dedication and commitment to the Pingelly Brookton Football Club and the Indigenous Football Rounds.

The community service Award in 2021 was awarded to the late Narelle Page for her love and passion to several groups within Pingelly. This was the first time the Shire of Pingelly presented a posthumous award, which was received by Narelle's parents and their respective partners.

Nominations for the 2022 awards are now open and close on Friday, 25 November 2022. This year there is four categories.

  • Community Service Award
