Round 1 of the Shire of Pingelly’s Community Grant Scheme closed on 25 June 2020 and attracted several applications seeking support for local projects. At the Ordinary Council Meeting held on 17 July 2020, Council considered the applications received, with both the Friends of Pingelly Railway Station Inc and the Pingelly Development Association being successful in their applications.
The Community Grant Scheme recently underwent an update to simplify the application process and refocus the funding priority areas to align with the community’s aspirations set out in the 2020-30 Shire of Pingelly Community Strategic Plan. Two rounds are now available per financial year to improve community group access to funding throughout the year.
