The Memorial Park Redevelopment has been running smoothly over the past two months with minimal disruptions.
The most noticeable change has been the installation of nature play equipment following the completion of earthworks at the site. The limestone wall along the western boundary (abutting the Play Group) has also taken shape.
During the next fortnight, concrete works will commence which will form the footpath network throughout the precinct. Furniture and additional play items will also arrive and continue to be installed to form the junior, children and nature play spaces. Various utility functions will be undertaken including plumbing, drainage and electrical works.
The project remains on schedule for completion by 30 June 2021.
