Notice Regarding Changes to Council Meeting Formats
The Shire of Pingelly gives notice that it will be amending the format of holding its Council and Committee meetings to include electronic communication methods from 15 April 2020 until further notice. This is in line with recent Federal and State Government directives relating to the COVID-19 pandemic and in accordance with Regulation 14E(2) of the Local Government (Amendment) Regulations 1996. Agendas for the meetings will still be available on the Shire’s website by the Friday prior to the meeting.
Members of the community can still submit questions for public question time in writing prior to the meeting. These should be forwarded via email to admin@pingelly.wa.gov.au or by mail to 17 Queen Street, Pingelly 6308 by 12pm on the date of the meeting. Responses to the questions will be published in the minutes of the meeting.
