After almost two years at the helm, Chief Executive Officer of the Shire of Pingelly, Julie Burton, has announced she will be standing down from the role in late June 2021, to take up the position of Chief Executive Officer at the Shire of Boddington.

Shire President Cr William (Bill) Mulroney has expressed his sincere thanks to Ms Burton for her contribution over the last two years, and said while the Council wishes Julie well, the Council, and staff would be sad to see her leave.

“On behalf of the Council we would like to thank Julie for her service and many achievements during her tenure as CEO, and congratulate her on the new position” said Shire President Cr Bill Mulroney.

Ms Burton described the decision as difficult, as she had immensely enjoyed her time in the role, and had highly valued the support given to her by the Shire President, Councillors, the staff, and Executive Team.

“I am proud of what we have achieved together, and I would like to extend my sincere thanks to each and every one of you for your commitment and support during my time here” she said.

Council will shortly consider the recruitment of a new Chief Executive Officer.
