Last year the Shire applied to participate in Fair Game's Recycle and Donate program which distributes preloved sporting equipment to regional communities. Yesterday Sam, Community Development Officer, embarked on a day trip to Perth to collect our order of sporting equipment to bring back to Pingelly.
The equipment package includes:
- Volleyball set
- Cricket set (plastic)
- Basketballs and Footballs
- Floorball set
- Frisbees, grip ball and water slide
We are looking forward to testing some of this equipment at the Family Fun Day as part of the Australia Day in Pingelly event at the Pingelly Swimming Pool. Further information will be available in due course about how the community can hire the equipment.
