Pingelly Christmas Village back by popular demand

This year the Shire of Pingelly is getting well and truly into the festive spirit again this year as we transform the main street into a huge Christmas Village!

Following the hugh success of the first ever Pingelly Christmas Village last year, Pingelly will light up with Christmas events and displays for the whole month of December. We want as many people as possible to come visit and get involved with the festivities.

The Christmas Village will light up the historic main street with many different attractions, including new attractions of a forest of wooden Chirstmas trees, Nutcracker's Hut, Gingerbread House and Family and an igloo. These attractions will add to last year's favourites of  a huge Christmas tree, a life-size Grinch, Western Australia's biggest Santa Clause, a walk-through star and arch and thousands of fairy lights.

The Christmas Village will be officially opened on Friday 8 December with an incredible night of events including the lighting of the 6 metre Christmas tree, the official lights switch on, Christmas markets, Christmas Tree competition, roving elves, a visit from Santa Clause and late-night shopping and dining.

The whole of December will be filled with festive fun still to be revealed. Check out our Events Page for all the details.

Accommodation is available at the Pingelly Hotel, Exchange Hotel, Steve's Guesthouse, the free 72HR RV Parking and at the Pingelly Caravan Park. Call (08) 9887 1351 for bookings. Dining is available from the Pingelly Hotel, Six Seasons Cafe in the heart of the Christmas Village and the PRACC bistro

We can’t wait to see the main street lit up each night and we can’t wait to get together with our local community and visitors to enjoy it!
