The Shire of Pingelly, in conjunction with the Pingelly Youth Network, conducted the It Starts With ‘You’th consultation series to understand the needs and aspirations of local young people. Following the facilitation of surveys, pop-up booths and workshops, the Pingelly Youth Network collated the data to inform strategies and actions to implement a youth-led vision for Pingelly within organisational and community capacity.
A further opportunity for the broader community to provide input into the Draft Strategy, before the final version as adopted at the Ordinary Council Meeting in August. The Pingelly Youth Network are now set with a blueprint to work collaboratively to develop projects and initiatives for young people.
