Pingelly Age Appropriate Accommodation (PAAA)
The Pingelly Age Appropriate Accommodation (PAAA) is a community-led housing initiative supporting seniors and people living with disability to age in place within Pingelly.
Opened in October 2018, PAAA offers accessible, purpose-built homes designed to support independence, dignity, and strong community connection. Located at Community Place, the development includes five 2-bedroom homes within walking distance of essential services, including the Pingelly Primary Health Centre.
PAAA is managed by the Pingelly Somerset Alliance (PSA), a volunteer-led, not-for-profit organisation that provides housing and support services across Pingelly. PSA also delivers the Virtual Village – “Staying in Place” model, connecting residents with local services and support to help them remain safely in their homes.
Together, PAAA and PSA are a vital part of the community, supporting positive ageing, wellbeing, and ensuring Pingelly remains a place where people can live, age, and thrive.
