Pioneer Park in Pingelly was buzzing under a glorious, sunny blue sky as stall holders at the Pingelly Mothers’ Day Markets set up their items for sale. It didn’t take long before small crowds started to arrive, and we were entertained by the highly talented and professional Lansdell Family music group. What a treat for all of us to have such quality live music in the park - such a talented family.

The talent didn’t stop at the music however, with stall holders showing off their clever craft of sewing, welding, soap and candle making, knitting and crochet, cooking, timber creation, along with green thumbs in propagating plants galore and a varied array of bric a brac. The late addition of ducks and chooks created even more variety! Raffles and money boards also proved very popular with local punters!

Hungry visitors were not disappointed with a good range of food on offer including sausage sizzle, pies, pasties, salad rolls and wraps, and even a soft serve ice cream!

Our emergency services volunteers (Fire, SES, Ambulance) put on another outstanding display of vehicles and equipment, as well as having some retail items for sale.

The outdoor gym equipment was certainly put to good use with many children (and adults) choosing to exercise in time to the music, and Mary the face painter created a gorgeous array of faces!

The Pingelly Tourism Group thank the Lansdell family, our emergency services volunteers and all stall holders for supporting our Mothers' Day Markets.  Thanks also to the Shire staff who did a great job in presenting Pioneer Park so well, and indeed to all volunteers involved.

However, we send a special thanks to you -  all the visitors and customers, both local and from far afield, who made the day such a such a success. Without your involvement and support the Markets would not work. Thank you.

We look forward to the next Markets in November!
