Shire of Pingelly Save the Numbats Local Law 2025
The Shire of Pingelly has resolved to adopt the Shire of Pingelly Save the Numbats Local Law 2025.
The purpose of this local law is to engage responsible cat ownership and to provide for the effective management of cats within the Shire of Pingelly.
The effect of this local law is to ensure that persons who own or keep a cat within the Shire of Pingelly are to comply with the provisions of this local law.
A copy of the local law may be inspected at, or obtained from, the Shire Administration Office at 17 Queen Street, Pingelly between 8.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday, or by contacting the Administration Office on 08 9887 1066.
It is also available to view on the Shire’s website www.pingelly.wa.gov.au
This local law was gazetted on 9 May 2025 and will come into operation on 23 May 2025.
