The Driver Reviver Centre is officially opening at the Town Hall on Wednesday 1PM 1 March! Come for the ribbon cutting ceremony by our local MP, the Hon Rick Wilson and see how the works at the Town Hall are progressing.
The Driver Reviver Centre is funded by the Commonwealth Government, Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communities through their Roadwise program. The aim is to improve road safety by encouraging people to break up their journey. This program has funded the following to encourage travellers to stop in Pingelly:
  • Civil works on Hall Street for car parking
  • Civil works on Quadrant Street for long bay parking
  • Variable Message Board Signage opposite the Town Hall
  • WIFI Infrastructure in Memorial Park
  • Toilet upgrades in the Town Hall
  • Coffee making facilities in the Town Hall
These works complement the redevelopment of Memorial Park which encourages travellers to stop for a while, take in our historic main street and patronise the local businesses.
