The Shire of Pingelly has been collaborating with the Department of Fire and Emergency Services WA to prepare a Bushfire Risk Management Plan for the community. This Plan identifies assets throughout the Shire at risk from bushfire and their priority for treatment.
At a recent planning session, DFES staff brought along a new trailer which can be requested by any Shire within the Upper Great Southern subregion to support mitigation activities.
