Pingelly Swimming Pool
Works Update
The Shire has been working hard to get the Pingelly Swimming Pool ready for the upcoming season. While the pool has been empty, we’ve taken the opportunity to complete a deep
clean and carry out repairs to the water stop joints. Painting is now underway, and we’re excited to see new limestone edging being installed to freshen up the look of the pool area.
A new pool pump has also been fitted, helping improve efficiency and reliability for the season ahead.
Unfortunately, our recent grant applications for disability access upgrades were not successful – but we’ll continue to seek funding opportunities to make the pool more accessible for
everyone.
The works are weather dependent, which means there will be a slight delay to the start of the season this year. We’re currently aiming to have the pool ready to open by mid-November.
We’ll keep the community updated on progress – and can’t wait to see the pool sparkling and full of life again soon!
